JANET FAY DAVIS, age 73, of Washington CH, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Court House Manor.

She was born on February 3, 1944 in Pike County to Ray and Hazel Jones Curtis. Janet had worked as a nursing assistant until her retirement in 2007. She enjoyed watching Lifetime movies, old westerns, and being with her family and grandchildren.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry Eugene Davis, whom she married on August 3, 1968; and siblings, Carol Wright, Roger, Bobby, and Richard Curtis.

Survivors include her children, Debbie (Rick) Brannon, Tammy (Bruce) Kingery, Jeff (Angie) Davis, and Daniel E. Davis; ten grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and siblings, Joann (Carl) Brady, Linda McCarty, and Donald (Patty) Curtis. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service.
