JANICE LINN GARDNER, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 11:43 PM. She passed away at home surrounded by her loving family. Janice was born May 19, 1954 to Harold and Mary Finch. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ricky. She was a successful business woman of 25 years, co-owner of Janice Gardner's Point Realty, and a long- time member of Grace Community Church. Her hobbies included horseback riding, extensive traveling, and hunting in the mountains. The most important thing in Janice's life was her family. She devoted herself to their happiness and she liked to spend her spare time in the company of her spouse, children, and grandchildren. Survivors include, husband, David of 41 years, daughter Laura Gardner-Miller (husband Craig, children Dillon, Madden, and Jackson); son David Gardner (wife Alicia, children Wesley, Haley, Alexis, and Chloe); son Jason Gardner (wife Morgan, children Rylan, Katelyn, and Bexley); daughter Kristen Gardner-Frederick (husband Billy, children Conner and Caden); Collette Fought (husband Mike, children Georgette and Israel); brother Monte Finch (wife Janet, children Stephanie and Randy); and brother David Finch (wife Vicky, children Mandy, Mark, and Katie). The funeral service will be held at Grace Community Church on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Jay Lucas officiating with burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday, from 5-8 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to The James Cancer Hospital for Research, 300 W. 10th Ave., Columbus, OH 43210.
