Jay J. Honicker, 66, died on July 30, 2016 at his residence. Jay was born on June 21, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio the son of the late Jay C. and Margie Moore Honicker. After graduation from high school he served in the US Army. He was employed by TFO in Jeffersonville for 21 years. He loved to cook, experimenting with recipes, the hotter and/or spicier the better. Most of all, he loved his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife June Hayes Honicker. He is survived by his children Brian (Bobbi) Honicker, Staunton, Vicki (Albert) Stiffler, Staunton and Sherry Angeletti, Washington CH and two grandchildren Hailey and Matthew, siblings Judy Honicker, Sue (Mike) Hayes and Russ Honicker and sister in law Rosie Hayes and special friend and neighbor Annetta Smith and a host of friends. There will be a Celebration of Life carry in dinner held at the Fellowship Hall in Staunton on August 13th from 3pm-5pm, everyone is welcome. Summers Funeral Home.
