JEFFREY F. HARPER, age 60, went to his forever Home on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. He is joyfully reunited with family who preceded him including his parents, Forrest and Beverly Girton Harper, his fearless son, Garrett Harper, and a special cousin, Poppy Girton. Jeff is eagerly anticipating the arrival of his loving wife, Beth Bechtol Harper, daughters, Heidi and Kirsten Harper, and son, Gavin Harper. He will also be deeply missed by his family by marriage, including many nieces and nephews, and his cousin Kevin and Tammy Girton.

Jeff was born on December 30, 1957 in Franklin County and spent all of his life in New Holland. He graduated from Miami Trace High School in 1976. Jeff has always been active in his community whether it be serving on the Fayette County Life Squad in its early years or selling real-estate. He worked as a respiratory therapist for years at Fayette County Memorial Hospital and for a period at Grant Hospital where he met his wife, Beth. They were married May 12, 1990. In recent years Jeff owned and managed multiple properties. He was an active member at Grace Community Church since it began in the days of services at Washington Senior High.

Those who know Jeff best appreciate his quiet sense of humor, his passion for finding the best restaurants, his love of reading and most of all his love for his family.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Grace Community Church with Pastor Jay Lucas officiating with burial to follow at the New Holland Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
