JEFFREY MITCHELL KING, age 62, of Springdale, formerly of Jeffersonville, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026 at West Chester Hospital in Cincinnati. His death was sudden and unexpected.

He was born on August 2, 1963 in Xenia, Ohio to Joseph Mitchell and Judith Ann (Smith) King. He was a 1981 graduate of Miami Trace High School. After high school he attended Ohio Dominican University and Ohio University in Chillicothe. Jeffrey currently worked full-time as a yard foreman and forklift driver for Carter Lumber in Mason, Ohio. He enjoyed basketball, baseball, golfing, and was an avid Ohio State fan.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Joseph King; his brother, Jay King; maternal grandparents, Myron and Virginia Smith; and paternal grandparents, Frank and Georgia King.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Judy and Jim Hamilton; one son and one daughter and several grandchildren; siblings, Jason (Lisa) King, and Jodi King; nephews, JD King, and Graham King; nieces, Julia King, Jasmine King, Ira King, Elena King, and Ashley Changet; and sister-in-law, Maria King. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
