JENNIFER ANN (SUMMERS) COPAS, age 43, of Wilmington, formerly of Washington CH, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023 at The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute after a courageous battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer.

She was born on November 27, 1979 in Fayette County to Danny Ray and Barbara Ann (Amonette) Summers. She was a 1999 graduate of Washington High School and attended DeVry University in Columbus. Jennifer was a housewife and stay-at home Mom and raised four beautiful children. She attended The Gathering Place Church when her health would allow. Jennifer was a kind, loving, and sweet spirit. She enjoyed traveling, being at the ocean, and she loved being a Mom.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Eloise Summers and William "Bill" and Wilma Amonette.

Survivors include her husband of fifteen years, Bradley A. Copas; her children, Taylor N. Johnson, Cameron N. Johnson, Caydee M. Copas, and Brooklyn K. Copas; parents, Dan and Barb Summers; brother and sister-in-law, Nick and Sara Summers; mother-in-law, Sandy Copas; father-in-law, Jesse (Kathy) Copas; brother-in-law, Tim Copas; nephews, Mason A. Summers and Henry M. Summers; and niece, Adelyn J. Summers.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at The Gathering Place Church, 240 Courthouse Pkwy, Washington CH, OH 43160, with Pastor John Pfeifer officiating. Family and friends may visit at the Church on Thursday evening from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place following services.
