He was born on December 13, 1961 in Morgan County, Kentucky to the late Joyce Roberts. He was a 1981 graduate of Washington High School and studied carpentry at Laurel Oaks Vocational School. Bo worked for the City of Washington Street Department for twenty-seven years and was always known for his kind and gentle heart; while Bo was growing-up, he helped raise his younger siblings and set a great example of what a role model should look like. In addition to his mother, Bo was preceded in death by his father-in-law, "Pop" James Roberds; and grandparents, Ottis and Opal Watson.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Betsy Shawn Roberds Miller, whom he married on June 2, 1981; his daughters, Julia Miller, and Tara McKinzie Miller; his "mothers," Dora Roberta and Betty Roberds Hawk; siblings, Alvin (Jenny) Watson, Mike (Nancy) Watson, Mark (Tammy) Watson, Crystal Watson, Robin (Sheldon) Miller, Loria Riley, and Roger Shadley; and special friends, Rick and Tammy Bobbitt, Kevin and Brenda Hull, Jeff and michelle Mason. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and host of dear and special friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Ohio's Hospice of Fayette County for the excellent care they provided.
