JIMMY DALE TAYLOR, age 62, of Washington CH, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015, at 10:58 p.m. at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 28, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio to Emery and Gola Caudill Taylor. He was a 1972 Xenia High School graduate and attended the Greene County Career Center for three years, studying mechanics. He had worked at Sears Distribution Center and also at ABX of Wilmington. He enjoyed racing, working on cars and loved playing basketball during his high school years. Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother and brother Billy Taylor. Survivors include his father, his wife, Kathy Wilson Taylor, whom he married on June 15, 1973; his children Greg Taylor and Travis Taylor; siblings Doug (Chris) Taylor and David Taylor; sister-in-law Patti Taylor; his beloved feline, Shadow and his canine companions, Bosco and Scooter as well as a host of friends. The memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. It was his wish to be cremated. The family would like to thank the Fayette County Memorial Hospital doctors and nursing staff and especially Dr. Dennis Mesker for all of their excellent care that was shown to Jimmy while he was a patient.
