JOAN BUCK, age 72, of Washington CH, passed away at 8:35 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Court House Manor Nursing Home. She was born on March 21, 1941 in Michigan to Roy and Daisy Williamson Litteral. She retired from Case Convalescent Center after 27 years of service where she worked as an STNA. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, enjoyed puzzling, marbles, fishing, mushroom hunting, cooking, baking pies and her cats Tippy, Millie and Bo and her dog, Killer. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George Buck, great-grandson Jordan Powell and eleven siblings. Survivors include her children Danny Buck, Vickie (Lloyd) Smith, Raymond Buck, Julie Buck, Larry Buck and Jerry (Cissy) Buck; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; siblings Robert (Lois) Litteral and Marvin (Janet) Litteral as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church, 1600 US Rt. 35 NW, with Pastor Tim Able officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
