JOHN PAUL CODER, age 81, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 6:35 a.m. at St. Catherine's Manor of Washington CH.

He was born on October 28, 1934 in Ross County to Joshua and Katie (Rayburn) Coder. John's lifelong passion was his Holstein dairy herd.

John was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include his sisters, Marjorie (Jesse) Jessing, Violet Neal, Margaret Barnhart, and Louise Matthews. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor John Hunsaker officiating with burial to follow at the Bethel Cemetery in Sedalia. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
