JOSEPH EDWARD ADAMS, age 61, of Washington Court House, passed away at 12:20 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2024 at his home. He was born on January 19, 1963 in London, Ohio to Thomas F. Adams and Pansy S. Burns Henry. On June 25, 1983 he married the former Vickie "Shelly" Cordial, who survives.

Joseph was a 1981 graduate of Madison Plains High School and had worked as a cook for most of his life. He loved spending time with his grandkids, playing cards, mostly Euchre and was always "joking around" and was always the "life of the party". Joseph also like growing plants and tending to his flower garden, decorating for the holidays, shopping and enjoyed being nicely dressed.

In addition to his loving wife of forty-one years, he is survived by his two children, Holly (John) Chamberlin of Washington C.H. and Tony (Natasha) Adams of London, Ohio; his five grandchildren, Austin, Lilly, Haylee, Payton and Savannah. Also surviving is his mother, Pansy S. Henry of Washington C.H., his brother, Todd Adams of Columbus; brothers in-law, Todd and Clifford Cordial and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Joseph is preceded in death by his father, Thomas and his brother, Tom Adams and brother in-law, Matt Cordial.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in the Summers Funeral Home. In keeping with the families wishes, cremation will take place following visitation and burial will be held at a later date at Paint Township Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
