JOSHUA LEE DELONG, age 34, of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014 at his home. He was born on November 28, 1979 in Fayette County to Clyde Delong and Mary McConkey. He was a 1998 Washington High School graduate and had been employed by Little Caesar's Pizza as a shift manager. He enjoyed model airplanes, fishing, movies, playing his guitar, the OSU Buckeyes and vintage Chevy Novas. Joshua was preceded in death by his mother Mary McConkey Randolph, his grandparents Gale and Margaret McConkey and his beloved dog, Dully. Survivors include his father Clyde Delong; sister Sara Randolph; Aunt Cathy McConkey with whom he resided; step-father Thomas Randolph Jr. as well as aunts and uncles Marsha (Jack) Junk, Dave (Joyce) McConkey, Gale McConkey and special friend Shirley Baker and several cousins and a host of friends. The memorial service will be held on Monday, September 22, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Morrison officiating. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions are suggested to Joshua's family.
