JUANITA G. STRUNK, age 79, of Washington CH, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 2:10 a.m. at St. Catherine's Manor of Washington CH.

She was born on April 4, 1938 in Fayette County to Robert and Irene Jones Ruth Chamberlain. Juanita had worked as a waitress at the Garner's Truck Stop for many years. She had attended the FaithWay Church in Kentucky. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching TV, and her favorite show, CSI.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, William Strunk, whom she married on October 7, 1975.

Survivors include her step-children; David (Patty) Strunk, and Jessie (Mike) Sharits; step-granddaughter, Amanda (Danny) Baker; brother, Ken (Ruth Ann) Ruth; niece, Krissy (Bill) Cooper, nephew, Kenny Ruth; great niece, Karleigh Cooper; great nephew, Carson Cooper, and her aunt, Rosemary Rinehart.

The graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the Good Hope Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bruce Morrison officiating. Friends may visit the family at the Summers Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 5-7:00 p.m.
