JUDY LORIE ELZEY, age 74, of Washington CH, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at St.Catherine's Manor of Washington CH.

She was born on September 19, 1949 in Fayette County to the late Earl and Ruth (Carmen) Ross. She was a 1969 graduate of Miami Trace High School and later earned an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Southern State Community College. Judy attended the Center United Methodist Church when her health would allow. She enjoyed playing bingo, puzzling, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her brothers, Roger Ross, and Earl Ross.

Survivors include her daughter's, Rachael (Thomas) Goodwin, and Carla (Michael) Bills; grandchildren, Brittany Peters, Shania Peters, Faith Bills, and Dakota Bills; great-grandchildren, Jacklynn, and Avery; and sisters, Thelma Ross, and Patricia Ross. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Cremation has taken place and a burial will be held at the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery at a later date.
