KAREN EVERHART, age 76, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at the Adena Fayette Medical Center with her beloved family by her side.

She was born on December 28, 1949 in Washington CH to the late John Marion and Gertrude Kathryn (Thompson) Prenat. She was a 1968 graduate of Washington High School. Karen worked in sales at Mac Tools until they closed, her last job was in accounting with the Chappell Door Company. She was a faithful member at the Unity Fellowship Church. She enjoyed crafting, reading, and spending time with her family and grandchildren, and she loved playing with her Pupps!

In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Anders.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Dale Everhart, whom she married on April 4, 1968; her daughters, Amy Everhart, and Brandi (Jason) Garringer; grandchildren, Grace Glore, Zoe Glore, Owen Glore, and Cody Garringer; and her forever faithful companions, her Yorkies, Zack, and Harlee. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
