KAREN ELAINE LEISURE, age 66, of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 12:55 p.m. at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital.

She was born on November 20, 1950 in Fayette County to the late Paul E. and Goldie E. Wilson Jones. She had retired from Calmar and most recently worked at the Food Court at the Tanger Outlet Mall in Jeffersonville. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, and being with her family and friends.

Survivors include her son, Doug (Susy) Leisure; grandchildren, Jackie (Nick) Wilson, and Camden Leisure; great-grandchildren, Charlee and Cayden Wilson; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon (Dennis) Cotner; and niece, Tina (Eddie) Pence; and her three loving canine companions, Brutus, Molly, and Zoey. Also surviving are several cousins and a host of friends.

The graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at the Madison Mills Cemetery with Pastor Mike Hodge officiating. Friends may visit at the Summers Funeral Home on Thursday morning from 10-11:30 a.m.
