KAY ANN POPE, age 65, of Washington CH, passed away from this life on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 3:27 p.m. at Court House Manor.

She was born on September 21, 1955 in Fayette County to Frank Pope, Jr. and Janet L. Graves. She was a graduate of Washington High School. Kay retired from the City of Washington Service Department where she worked as secretary for many years. She was a faithful member at the Grace United Methodist Church. Kay will always be remembered for her quiet and sweet demeanor. She enjoyed attending Columbus Blue Jackets games, Bret Michaels concerts, being with her family and was an avid Elvis Presley fan.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Steve Pope.

Survivors include her daughter, Renee L. Pope; grandson, Connor J. Tipton; cousin, Crista Creamer; and special friends Gary Dean, Jimmy Heath, and Patty McKenzie.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Mell Wickensimer officiating with burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
