KELLY JO ANNON, age 46, of Washington CH, went to be the Lord on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

She was born on May 20, 1978 in Fayette County to Roger Alan and Janet Kay (VanBibber) Smith. She was a 1996 graduate of Miami Trace High School and attended Southern State Community College. Kelly worked full-time as a dispatcher for Fayette Madison Transit/Fayette County Community Action. She was a faithful member at Heritage Church. Her mother described her as being very social and never knowing a stranger. She enjoyed volunteering at Kamp Dovetail in Hillsboro, spending time with her husband, attending festivals in town and going to concerts at the Rose Avenue Dream Center.

Kelly was preceded in death by her grandfather, Thomas VanBibber; great grandparents, Ottie and Anna Smith; and father-in-law, Grover Annon.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Michael Annon, whom she married on May 23, 2009; her parents, Roger and Janet Smith; brothers, Keith (Stacey) Smith, and Kevin (Heather) Smith;  nieces and nephews, Brayden Smith, Dalton Mayer, Wyatt Mayer, Shelby Mayer, Peyton Smith, Carson Smith, and Beau Smith; grandparents, JoAnn VanBibber, and Raymond and Edna Smith; and special friends, Steve and Linda Allen. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at The Heritage Church with Joy Stanforth officiating with burial to follow at the Lees Creek Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the Summers Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5-7:00 p.m.
