KELSEY JEAN MAYNARD, age 26, of Mt. Sterling, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 7:54 a.m.

She was born on February 23, 1991 in Franklin County to Harlan "Butch" and Debra Sue Depoy Maynard. She was a 2007 graduate of ECOT. She had previously worked as a sales associate at Allen Edmonds. Kelsey was known as the "beauty queen" to many of her friends and family. She enjoyed art, musicals, cats, and most of all, being with her son, Kyler.

Kelsey was preceded in death by her grandparents, Amos (Gladys Irene) Maynard, Bernard Depoy, Elaine Jacob, and Rod (Mary) Oviatt; and sister, Sarah Maynard.

Survivors include her parents; son, Kyler Aiden Emrick; fiancé, James "Jimmy" Ford; siblings, Jamie (Vincent) Chinchello, Lindsey (Joshua) Cox, Crystal Maynard, and Harlan Jesse Maynard; grandfather, Daryl Jacob; nieces and nephews, Makayla L., Jared M., Zachary A., and Hunter Ashlyn. Also surviving are several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the convenience of the family.
