Obituary

KENDRA SUE SPARKMAN, age 60, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30, 2026 at her home while surrounded by her beloved family.

She was born on July 29, 1965 in Washington CH to the late Ron Dean and Thelma Juanita (Beedy) Clay. She was a 1983 graduate of Miami Trace High School. Kendra has been employed at ABC Pediatrics of Ohio as a receptionist for the past seventeen years. She was a faithful member of the South Side Church of Christ. She enjoyed vacationing in Myrtle Beach, shopping, collecting turtles, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Randy Lee Sparkman, whom she married on June 22, 1991; her children, Kalie (Branden) Gray, Alec (Ellyse) Sparkman, and Bethany Dawn Sparkman; grandchildren, Jordyn Gray, Amelia Sparkman, and Baby Boy Sparkman arriving in June; siblings, Kari (Cliff) Lago, David Clay, and Danny (Angela) Clay; stepmother, Judy Clay; brother-in-law, Ira (Vickey) Gilbert; and sister-in-law, Kathy (Randy) Elzey. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, cousins, along with a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the South Side Church of Christ with Pastor Todd Maurer officiating.
