LARRY G. SEITZ, age 71, of Washington CH, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at 2:40 p.m. at the Four Seasons Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born on December 17, 1943 in Highland County to Leroy and Gladys McCoy Seitz. He had worked at Girton's Frozen Food Locker as a butcher for many years. He enjoyed coon hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting and gigging for frogs. He enjoyed collecting antiques, going to auctions and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Kate Willison and Betty Mae McCullah and brother, Jim Seitz. Survivors include his children Patricia Brown, Larry G. Seitz Jr., and Micheal David Seitz and special friend Heather Wayne; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; siblings Bill (Mary) Seitz, Walter Seitz, Jerry (Barbara) Seitz, Stanley Seitz, Linda Davis, Janet Smith, Betty Lee Sword, John Larkins and Richard (Janie) Larkins as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends including Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Highley. The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Kay Austin officiating.
