LINDA SUE BUNCH, age 71, of Washington CH, went home to be with her favorite person, Jesus, on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 3:43 a.m. at the Adena Fayette Medical Center.

She was born on August 8, 1954 in Ewing, Virginia to the late Tip Eldridge and Reva (Gilpen) Eldridge.

Our mother spent her lifetime doing the one thing she loved most, serving. She raised eight children, nurtured 37 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren (and excitedly awaited the arrival of one on the way). She loved her church family at Harvest Life Worship Center, especially her Pastor Chris Conley who she loved as a son. She would frequently help prepare meals for not just family, but everyone that came into her life, from the church to the Sheriffs Department where her son JT works. She was loved by everyone who truly knew her. Her favorite Bible verse was Ephesians 6:11 which says "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil", and our mother proudly wore her armor every single day of her life. She was a protector, a servant of God and the kind of mother every child wishes they could have. If you knew our mother, if you knew Linda Sue Bunch, then we hope you know that she prayed a hedge of protection over you, and she loves you as Jesus loves her.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Tip and Reva Eldridge, her husband James M. Bunch whom she married on October 30, 1970, her daughter Erica Denise Bunch, her grandson Zachary Wallace, her great grandchild Halo Teets. Her sister Kat Dawson, and Brothers and Sisters in Law: Iva and Larry Morris, Debbie and Walter Fox and Donald Bunch

She is survived by her children Krista (David) Howard of San Diego, California. Karrie (Rich) Looney of WCH, Jason (Kim) Bunch of Bean Station, Tennessee. Katina (Rick) Cartee of WCH, Kourtney (Brion) Longberry of WCH, James "JT" (Shawna) Bunch of WCH, Josh "JJ" (Skye) Bunch of Columbus, and Kasie (Bruce) Stout of WCH. Her grandchildren Brittany (Aaron), Brandon, Jordan, Jamie (Quinten), Robbie, Johnathan, Austinn, Ryan, Dominique "DC", Gregory "GW" (Stephanni), Carlee (Brandon), Cheyenne (Brady), Storm (Hannah), Aaron, Cheyanne, Jazmin, Lexi, Jachyla, Kennidi, Jossalynn, James, Gavin, Lindsey, Madison, Isaac, Amelia, Rowan, Ryker, Ashlynn, Kalan, Ezra, Xavier, Grace, Leeam, Emmalynn and Brantley. 13 great grandchildren with one on the way. Her siblings, Phyllis Williams, Jim Ray (Sandy) Eldridge, Skip (Melody) Eldridge, Gene (Dixie) Eldridge, Jeff (Jinny) Eldridge and Don Eldridge. Sister in Law, Mary (Hughey) Rayburn.

She will be remembered and missed by her "ya ya sisters" Ethel Phillips, Cindy Bain, Helen Sharp, Anna Hurles and her huzzy, the late Jo Lynn (Hollar) Schroeder.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at the Harvest Life Worship Center, 1003 N. North St., Washington CH, OH 43160 with Pastor Chris Conley officiating.
