LINDA E. CARSON, age 73 of Washington CH, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at her home while surrounded by her family.
She was born on August 24, 1948 in Greenfield, Ohio to the late Charles "Paul" and Ruth (Spurlock) Huff.
Linda was a 1966 graduate of Westfall High School. After graduation she was a homemaker and mother. In 1980 she began working at Calmar where she stayed until her retirement after 26 years of service. After retirement Linda enjoyed a variety of activities including her family, grandchildren, volunteer work at The Well and her four legged companion, Bo. Linda was also a faithful member at The First Church of God.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mike Huff; and sister-in-law, Vianna Helton.
Survivors include her loving husband, Donald "Duke" Carson; children, Leisa (Todd) Clay and Scott (Regina) Moore, stepchildren, Daniel (Angel) Carson, Donald Carson and KC Carson; grandchildren, Zach (Olivia) Clay, Jake (Sarah) Clay, Ryan Moore and his fiancé, Brooke Connors, Jordan Moore and his girlfriend, Cayleigh Matson; step grandchildren, Alena and Lila Carson, Damien and Paige Carson, Anna Carson, Logan, Levi, Kaleigh and Koby Carson; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Remi Clay; siblings, Joe (Belinda) Huff, Donald Huff, Gail (Tom) Compston and Kim (Vic) Huller, sisters-in-law, Ruth Ann (Kenny) Ruth, Diane (Chuck) Gaskins, and brother-in-law, Herbie (Janet) Carson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of dear and special friends.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Mell Wickensimer officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service.
