LINDA JANE COX, age 57, of Greenfield, formerly of Washington CH, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2019 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

She was born on November 14, 1961 in Fayette County to Herbert and Hilda Grey King. She attended Washington High School. Linda spent a lot of her time babysitting for family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed collecting, loved her dogs, enjoyed the outdoors, cooking, and being with her family.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Beverly Duncan, and Charles King.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jessie and Nick Whaley; grandson, Barry Allen Lee Whaley; step-sons, Mykal Montgomery, and Ashtyn Montgomery; step-grandchildren, Cameron Malyki Dayne Montgomery, and Amethyst Montgomery; nephew, Mike Gookenbarger; and siblings, Audra Althouse, Janet (Jay) Cooper, and Bobby King. Also surviving are several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Danny Dodds officiating with burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
