LINDA L. BARR FORD, age 69, of Bloomingburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 8:02 a.m. at St. Catherine's Manor of Washington CH.

She was born on June 22, 1948 in Highland County to the late Pearl and Phyllis Jones Barr. She was a 1966 graduate of Washington High School and also attended Southern State Community College where she received an Associate's Degree in Business. Linda had worked for the City of Washington as an administrative assistant, and retired from Showa after twenty-one years of service as a computer programmer. She enjoyed dancing, fishing, hunting, and being with her friends and family.

Survivors include her husband, James Ford, whom she married on June 30, 2001; children, Carmen (Scott) Baird, Traci (Rick) Barton, and Roger (Aricka) Sturgill; grandchildren, Bethany (Michael) DiAngelis, Jordan Baird, R.G. Barton, Gavin and Gabby Sturgill, Erin Criswell, and Kaylee and Lane Hester; great-granddaughter, Renee Rayburn; brother, Jerry Barr; and her loving canine companion, Debo. Also surviving are several cousins, and a host of friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the conveience of the family. In keeping with Linda's wishes, cremation will be observed.
