LINDA LOU MICKLE, age 81, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 3, 2026 at her home while surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on April 24, 1944 in Lattaville, Ohio in Ross County to the late David and Bessie (Shuster) Lucas. She was a 1962 graduate of Washington High School. Linda was a faithful member at Crossroads Christian Church. She taught Sunday School for many years and was awarded Sunday School Teacher of the year. Linda started working at the young age of fourteen at the former Risch’s Drug Store in Washington CH, where she would spend forty-plus years. She collected teapots and teacups, and she adored time spent with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include the love of her life and soulmate, Rodger Lee Mickle, whom she married on June 9, 1961; her children, Whitney L. (Jerry Begin) Pennington, Kelly L. Mickle, Kyle F. (Hope) Mickle, and Scott D. (Wanda) Mickle; grandchildren, Haley Dawn Martin, Kyle (Beth) Kuebler, Carleigh (Christian) Johnson, Ben (Sara) Mickle, Madison Mickle, Ryan (Dana) Mickle, and Shane (Keisha) Larch; great-grandchildren, Myles, Adelaide, Eevee, Josalyn, Graham, Harper, Kali, Layla, Maddox, Nolan, Sadie (Tyler), Hartley, Ariel, Shaelyn, Brantley, Analyn, and Beau; and one great-great-grandson, Tucker.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Heartland Hospice and especially to Amy, Heather, Lora, Julie, Chrystal, Skyler, Peggy, Jessika, and Leslie for the amazing care they provided during this most difficult time.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
