LORRAINE T. WRIGHT, age 92, of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 2:35 p.m. at the Court House Manor Nursing Home. She was born on March 4, 1923 in Kentucky. She had worked for the Washington City Schools for 15 years. She had been a member of the former Gregg St. Church of Christ in Christian Union. She enjoyed reading her Bible, cooking, was an avid Reds fan and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Lorraine was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Hyacinth Wagoner Wagner and step-father, Shirley Wagner; her husband Charles L. "Bud" Wright Sr. and her sister, Garnetta Whitaker. Survivors include her children, Charles Jr. (Judy) Wright, Michael A. (Donna) Wright, Lee W. (Denise) Wright, Shirley (Mike) Preston, Annette Wright (Lorenzo) and Cindy (Steve) Johnson; grandchildren Chuck (Dawn) Wright, Christy (Jerry) Myers, Jason (Jo) Wright, Brad (Joy) Wright, Kyle Wright and fiance Kelsey Bagley, Broake Preston (Tracy Bradley), Courtney (Jeremiah) Paul, Luke (Shasta) Preston, J.L. (Monica) Penrod, Lyndsey (Seth) Teter and Amanda (Dave) Phillips; 16 great-grandchildren; brother Houston Wagner; brother-in-law, Dee Whitaker; special friend, Treva Wilson as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Dee Whitaker officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery.
