MABLE LEONA KNISLEY, age 68, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 9:36 p.m. at her home. She was born on January 19, 1947 in Lancaster, Ohio to Ferdinand and Zella Taylor Gilland. She had worked at Greenfield Research. Mabel enjoyed sewing, quilting and country music. She was a great cook and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mable was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Roy Gilland and Ellen Gilland. Survivors include her children Rick Knisley of Sabina, Rodney (Margaret) Knisley of Washington CH and Brad (Amber) Knisley of Frankfort; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; siblings Olive Bourne, Mary Gilland, Bernice Phillips, Marilyn Ewing, Charles Gilland and Rossco Gilland as well as several nieces, nephews cousins and a host of friends. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Mike Scaggs officiating.
