MARGARET ELIZABETH EDWARDS, age 88, of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 5:35 a.m. at St. Catherine's Manor of Washington CH.

She was born on October 25, 1928 in Atlanta, Ohio to Ernest and Maude Rohrer Howard. She had worked for many years at Case Convalescent Center as a nurse's aide. Margaret had attended the First Christian Church in Washington CH. She enjoyed getting together for family dinners, and sitting in her swing talking with her neighbors.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Meade "Lum" Lloyd Edwards, whom she married on September 25, 1946; and her son, Tim Pierce.

Survivors include her daughter, Diane Albright; grandchildren, Beth (Steve) Frazier, Jennifer (Jason) Brown, and Tim (Jodi) Pierce; great-grandchildren, Todd Frazier, Summer, and Sydney Munyon, Kolton Brown, and Isaiah Pierce; sister, Lina Spargur; brother-in-law, Dick Edwards; sisters-in-law, Barbara White, Phyllis (Don) Joseph, and Ruth Raypole; nephews, Steve White, Doug (Cathy) White, and Todd Harrison; nieces, Cheryl (Mark) Fisher, Debbie (Bill) Jones, Leslie Harrison, and Kelly Raypole; and her special friends and neighbors, Kevin and Barbara Roberts, and John and Harriet Baker. Also surviving are several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Knauff officiating with burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
