MARGARET L. JACKSON, age 83, of London, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. at her home. She was under the care of Loving Care Hospice, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on January 20, 1933 in Jamestown, Ohio to the late Rev. Roscoe and Malissa Tomlinson Jones. She was a housewife and mother to six children. She babysat for other children. Margaret loved people, always had a beautiful smile, and wanted a hug and a kiss from everyone. She sat on her porch and waved as people drove by. She enjoyed going to church and was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union in Sedalia. Margaret was married to William "Bill" Jackson on August 12, 1950, however he preceded her in death in 1991. Also was also preceded by her parents, her daughter, Doris Jean Jackson Parks in 2015, and brothers, Robert and Russell Jones. Survivors include her daughter Mary (Bill) Dunston and sons, Harold (Pat) Jackson, David (Rosie) Jackson, Gerald "Jerry" Jackson and Kelly Joe (Sue) Jackson; son-in-law, LeeRoy "Junior" Parks; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; sisters, Juanita "Sissy" Jones and Ella Louise Jackson as well as nieces, nephews, friends and church family. Friends may call at the Summers Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. with the funeral service to be held at 7:00. Paul Seaman will be officiating.
