Marian L. Turner, age 74, of Washington CH, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 7:55 a.m. at the St. Catherine's Manor. She was born on February 3, 1941 in Frankfort, Ohio to the late George and Blanche Wright Logan. She was a 1959 graduate of Frankfort High School. She retired from General Electric after 38 years of service. She also enjoyed working at Curves, loved caring for stray animals, traveling, visiting casinos, sewing and baking sweets. She loved spending time and caring for her family who meant everything to her. Marian is survived by her husband, Donald R. Turner, whom she married on July 20, 1968; her children Daven (Gina) Turner of Galloway and Rochelle Turner of Washington CH; grandchildren Maria and Gianna Turner; sister Shirley Irby of Maryland as well as a host of friends, including special friend, Vivian Thomas. The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Lee officiating with burial to follow at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Frankfort. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. and again on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
