MARIE ELIZABETH BEVERLY, age 87, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Court House Manor. She was born on June 2, 1935 in Fayette County and was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Lillian Bolar Brill. On June 3, 1953 she married Glenn Beverly who precedes her in death.

Marie retired from Washington Court House City Schools where she had worked as a cook in the cafeteria. She was a member of the Burning Bush Community Church, enjoyed reading her Bible and watching the Andy Griffith Show.

Survivors include her children; Mark (Sharon) Beverly of Florida and Kathy (Esto) Haithcock of Washington CH; grandchildren, Emily Darty and Andy Darty, Paul and Rachel Beverly, Tiffany Justice, Tony Beverly and Josh Beverly and several great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Fayetta Stone and daughter-in-law, Teresa Beverly. In addition to her parents and loving husband, Marie was preceded in death by her children; Timothy Beverly, Anthony Beverly and Beverly Ann Beverly.

In keeping with Marie's wishes cremation has taken place and burial will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.
