MARJORIE ANN CLIFFORD, age 77, of Jeffersonville, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 7:09 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. She was born on September 20, 1943 in Manchester, Michigan to Arthur and Geraldine (Smith) McGee. Marjorie worked for The Dial Corporation in London until her retirement. She was a long-time member of the Fayette County Garden Club.

Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Richard Clifford, whom she married on April 6, 1971; and brother, Clifton McGee.

Survivors include her children, Nelline Tourney of Springfield, Kenneth (Liz) Carpenter of Pensacola, FL, Teresa Maxie of Washington CH, and Bill Miller of Wilmington; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and siblings, Debbie (Larry) Pitock and Larry (Linda) McGee, both of Michigan. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of dear and special friends.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Jay Lucas officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Those in attendance are asked to wear a mask or other facial covering and adhere to social-distancing guidelines.
