MARY "CHRIS" CHRISTINE ARBOGAST, age 57, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 2:06 a.m. at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 28, 1956 in Caneyville, Kentucky to Robert and Emma Serman Pepper. She was a 1976 Miami Trace High School graduate. She was currently employed by the Fayette County Board of DD and had previously worked as a bus driver for the Washington City Schools. She enjoyed cooking, bingo and going to the casinos and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Chris was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and four brothers. Survivors include her husband, Ira Arbogast, whom she married on March 17, 1996; her children Katina Kristoff of Dayton, Rock Dunaway of Jeffersonville, Kelly (John) Schreckengaust and Sammie Jo Arbogast both of Washington CH; grandchildren Rachel, Dylan, Anjyu, Rian and Allan; five brothers and three sisters as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor David Stulley officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1-3 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family at the Fairview Cemetery. The family wanted to honor Chris' wishes, that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions could be made directly to the Fayette Progressive Industries, 1330 Robinson Rd., Washington CH, OH 43160.
