MARY H. CRENSHAW, age 102, passed away peacefully on January 24th, 2023 at Court House Manor in Washington Court House. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends.

Mary was the daughter of the late William Allen and Viola Wood Lee.  She lived most of her life in Manning, South Carolina where she had been a member of the Bethel A.M.E. Church.

Survivors include her daughter; Stella Browder, her sister; Ruth Johnson, her grandchildren; Wanda Denise (Dean) Martin Frederick, W. Michelle (Ralph) Martin Callender, Michael (Shirley) Plant, Jr., Tonnetta L. (Shawn) Browder Quigley, her great-grandchildren; Michael A. Martin, Branden D. (Cara) Frederick, Autumn B. (Jayson) Price, Cleo "Andrea" Callender, Tiante B. Connell, Andrew J. Callender, Stella Quigley, Nora Quigley, Renee Cook, Denise Plant, Latisha Jackson, David Bates, Joshua Bates, Michael D. Bates and Zantoya Plant. Also surviving are eight great-great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband; Owney Crenshaw, her daughter; Delores Plant, her brothers; James Allen Lee and Arthur Lee and her sisters; Carrie Caldwell and Louise King.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 30, 2023 at the Summers Funeral Home with both Rev. Tracy Cross and Rev. Bonita Parker officiating with burial to follow in the Washington Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

The repass will be held at South Side Church of Christ, 921 S. Fayette Street, Washington Court House.
