MARY ELIZABETH INGRAM, age 88, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Mount Carmel Grove City.
She was born on November 3, 1934 in Fayette County to the late Gerald and Edith (Zimmerman) West. She attended Washington High School. Mary retired in 2002 from Calmar after twenty-six years of service. She attended the First Christian Church. Mary was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her siblings, Ronnie West, Robert West, and Wanda Hunter.
Survivors include her children, Douglas (Leslie) Ingram, Diaine (Glendal) Temple, Gerald Ingram, Edith (Donnie) Curtin, Michael Ingram, Walter (Debbie) Ingram, Susan (Mark) Stackhouse, Sharon Kellis, and Karen (Rodney) Lucas; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; siblings, Pamela Kilgore, and Eddie (Carol) West; and her best friend, Evelyn Morris. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Henderson officiating with burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
