MARY LOU JENNINGS, age 63, of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 2:10 p.m. at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 28, 1952 in Fayette County, to Glendal and Mary Nuckols Workman. She had worked at MacTools, Bundy and the Waffle House. She enjoyed crocheting, making afghans and Indian picture stitching. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, daughter at infancy, Stacey Dawn Ankrom, her husband, Ray Jennings and brother, Ed Workman. Survivors include her step-children, Steve and Judy Jennings, and Dale and Karen Jennings; siblings Paul (Lorraine) Chandler, Robert Minnix, Raymond (Rebecca) Workman, John (Gloria) Workman and Joe Workman as well as several nieces and nephews and her beloved canine companion, Kacy. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Chris Conley officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Cremation will follow with burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery at a later date.
