MARY W. KINGERY, age 85, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 9:50 a.m. at her home.

She was born on April 28, 1931 in Fayette County to J. Willard and Grace Clevenger Fout. She had worked at the Shoe Factory in Greenfield, and also renovated houses with her husband. She enjoyed painting houses, mowing, crocheting, and watching Family Feud, Dancing with the Stars, and wrestling. Mary was also a 7 year breast cancer survivor.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Perry Franklin "Frank" Kingery, brother, Harold Fout, brother and sister-in-laws; Norman (Ruby) Kingery, Iva (Eugene) Peele, Floyd (Dorothy) Mays, and Harold (Bessie) Kingery.

Survivors include her son, Wayne, and his wife, Betsy Kingery, grandchildren; Julie (Ryan) Seymour, Christina (James Horning) Blair, Jennifer (Peter) Pontoni; great-grandchildren, Kiara Blair, Jordan, Ari, and Giada Pontoni; niece, Gracie (Dick) Matthews; great-nephews, Robert (Charity) Penrod, and Michael Penrod; special friends, Loretta Ridgeway, Betty Pendergraft, John (Emma) Curnutte, and Sarah Cooper. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Morrison officiating with burial to follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Leesburg. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 2-6:00 p.m.
