MARY MARGARET LUCKHART, age 75, of Chillicothe, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 11:47 p.m. at Traditions of Chillicothe. She was born on March 3, 1940 in Selma, Ohio to Harold and Hannah Knisley Bowman. She graduated from Bellefontaine High School in 1958. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union. She was an active bowler, enjoyed fishing, traveling and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Shirley Sprinkel and two step-brothers. Survivors include her husband, David Luckhart, whom she married on August 26, 1971; step-children Tania Barnhart and her friend, Josh Allen, Marlon (Brenda) Luckhart and Krystal Jacobs; step-grandchildren Stacy Espinoza, Zane Daniels, Derek Jacobs, Devan Jacobs, Natalie Miller, Lauren and Whitney Luckhart; five step-great-grandchildren; nephew Donnie Sprinkel as well as a host of friends. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at the Summers Funeral Home with Dr. Ralph Hux officiating with burial to follow at the Tarlton Cemetery of Tarlton, Ohio.
