MARY LOU MICKLE, age 75, of Bloomingburg, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 4:55 p.m. at the St. Catherine's Manor. She was born on March 29, 1940 in Fayette County to Earl and Mary Ruth Greer. She was a 1960 Washington High School graduate. She was a retired bus driver with the Miami Trace School District after 28 years of service. Mary Lou and her husband, Brian, were owners of the Spare Room Storage and Mickle Propane Gas Company. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, she loved making jewelry and crocheting. She was known as an excellent cook and baker, especially her Texas sheet cake. She had a great sense of humor and was a kind, caring and thoughtful lady. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, Earl W. and Mary E. Ruth Greer, step-son Bradley Mickle, siblings Geneva Bowshier, Ruth Kirsch, Ruby Stillings and Jack Greer. Survivors include her husband, Brian Mickle, whom she married on May 25, 1974; brothers Luther Greer and Steve "Pete" Greer and all of her nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, as well as cousins and a host of friends. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Joe Current officiating with burial to follow at the Bloomingburg Cemetery.
