MARY LOUISE STROUP, age 72, of Morrow, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at her home after a courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer.

She was born on April 6, 1951 in Fayette County to Maurice Junior and Lottie Belle (Morris) Caldwell. She was a 1969 graduate of Madison South High School. Mary Lou owned a dog grooming business in Washington CH for many years. She enjoyed dancing, bowling, crocheting, golfing, and coordinating and calling Bingo.

Mary Lou is preceded in death by her father, Maurice Caldwell and mother, Lottie (Calvin) Williamson, children, Kimberly Dawn Stroup, and Larry "Rocky" Stroup, Jr.; granddaughter, Rachel McGraw; and great-grandson, Miller McGraw.

Survivors include her daughter, Lorry Stroup, grandchildren, Mark Rittenhouse, Jr., Matthew Stroup, and Megan Stroup; great-grandchildren, Adrian, Brice, William, Shawnee, Echo, Nova, Gwen, and Bella; and siblings, Linda Smith of Venice, Florida, Frances Ludene (Jimmy Lee) Manson of Morrow, Ohio, Virginia "Ginny" (Jerry) Sharp, Leonard "Bud" (Sue) Williamson, both of Washington CH, Ohio, and Charlene (Bob) Wolfe of North Port, Florida. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor John Pfeifer and Pastor Jeff Leslie officiating with burial to follow at the Bloomingburg Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
