Obituary

MAX D. BUSH, age 85, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Court House Manor Nursing Home. He was born on December 23, 1929 in Washington CH, to William and Jessie Dietchel Bush. He was a farmer all of his life and enjoyed shows involving old gas engines (hit and miss), antique tractors, cars and farming equipment. He never married. Max was a member of the Crossroads Christian Church, the Tired Iron Club, Fayette County Farm Bureau, lifetime member of the Fayette County Museum and also enjoys his morning coffee group, "the waterhole gang" at Our Place Restaurant. Max was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Geraldine, and Gene Bush. He is survived by his special friend, Mary Sue Spengler and his adopted family, Russ and Carol Dilley and family, Bob and Denise Spengler and family, special cousins, Kevin (Debbie) Miller, Robert Miller, and Susan (Ted) Waddle. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Crossroads Christian Church with Todd Maurer and Steve Henderson officiating with burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery.
