MICHAEL LEE "MIKE" CORNELL, age 70, of Washington CH, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 2:28 p.m. at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

He was born on August 22, 1950 in Fayette County to Alfred Sr. and Betty Johnson Cornell. He attended Washington High School. Mike was last employed at the Flying J Travel Center in Jeffersonville where he had worked in maintenance. He was a faithful member at the Anchor Baptist Church in Washington CH. He enjoyed bowling and being with his family.

Mike was preceded in death his parents; and siblings, Donald Cornell, Connie Sever, and Rosemary Rayburn.

Survivors include his children, Christi (Mike) Steinhilber, Mickie Shea Cornell, and Gary Todd Cornell; and siblings, Alfred (Joann) Cornell, and Patty Schraner.

Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery with Danny Dodds officiating. Masks will be required, and social distancing will be practiced per CDC guidelines.
