MICHAEL LEWIS "MIKE" OVERLY, age 72, of Washington CH, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 7:20 p.m. at Doctors Hospital in Columbus.

He was born on July 29, 1948 in Greenfield, Ohio to Eugene and Laura Cox Overly. He had attended Miami Trace High School. Mike worked as a tree trimmer and logger for many years in the local area. He and his wife were currently attending church in East Monroe, Ohio but Mike was raised at the South Side Church of Christ in Washington CH. He enjoyed fishing and had a passion for building and racing Chainsaws every year at the Fall Festival of Leaves.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Michael Lewis Overly Jr.; and sister-in-law, Rhonda Overly.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Betty Ann Shepherd Overly, whom he married on March 16, 1968; son, Eric Eugene (Loree) Overly; and siblings, Terry (Becky) Overly, Steve Overly, Marsha (Carl) Phillips, and Vicki (Larry) McGuire. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Interment will be held at the Cochran Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
