MICHAEL DEAN PHILLIPS, age 59, of Jamestown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at his home.

He was born on June 16, 1967 in Washington CH to Jerry Dean Phillips and Sally Ann (Crooks) Barton. He was a 1985 graduate of Washington High School. Michael was a highly skilled HVAC repairman for most of his adult life. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool, mowing his yard, spending time with his grandchildren, tinkering in his garage, and was an avid Ohio State and Cincinnati Bengals fan.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Phillips; his wife, Melissa Bach; and his uncle, John Phillips.

Survivors include his mother, Sally Barton; his children, Harley Phillips, Haley Griffith, Hunter Bach, and Ellie Bach; grandchildren, Kyler Kvarness, Danielle, Dexter, Gabriel, and Theodore Griffith; siblings, Ginny (Larry) Wright, and Cathy Phillips; and his beloved canine companions, Precious and Dottie. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
