MICHELLE LARIE MASSIE JOHNSON, age 56, of Killeen, Texas, formerly of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at her home. Her death was sudden and unexpected.

She was born on December 2, 1964 in Fayette County to James Milo "Jim" Massie and Betty Jane Hawkins. She attended Miami Trace High School. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, volunteering at the soup kitchen in Killeen and had a love for all animals.

Michelle was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albert Hawkins, Patrick and Betty Massie and Kenneth and Esther Duncan; and her beloved canine companion, Chopper.

Survivors include her parents, Jim and Kathy Massie of Largo, Florida and Betty and Darryl Nooks of Jeffersonville, Ohio; her grandmother, Martha Carpenter; daughter, Timothie Kathryn Larie Penwell; grandchildren, Alachi, Iva, and Lyston; siblings, Cindy Anderson, Rick (Lisa) Massie, and Duncan (Heidi) Massie; and her long-time significant other, Ronnie Valentine. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of special friends.

A memorial service will be held on August 29, 2021 at 6:00 PM at the Church of God located at 25 Vine Street Jeffersonville, Ohio. Friends may visit the family at the church at 4:00 PM until the time of the service.
