MILA JEAN EDWARDS, age 40, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 8:22 p.m. at Fayette County Memorial Hospital.

She was born on July 16, 1980 in Fayette County to Rodney Ray Sr. and Sherry Lynn (Hurles) Grim. Mila was a stay-at-home mother and grandmother. She will always be remembered for her kind heart and her contagious laugh. Mila was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed collecting angels, interior decorating, fishing, camping, and being with her family.

Mila is preceded in death by her father, Rodney Grim, Sr.; grandparents, Clyde and Patsy Hurles, and Raymond and Jane Grim; the father of her son, Jason Howland; and aunt, Debra Sue Collins.

Survivors include her mother, Sherry Grim and her significant other, Luckie Webb; her fiancé, Adam Havens; her children, Rezner (Allison) Edwards, and Tyler Howland; grandchildren, Rylin Edwards, Aaliyah Edwards, and Addilyn Edwards; siblings, Misty Edwards, Mindy Edwards, Rodney Jr. (Tameika) Grim, Ronnie (Dawn) Grim, Megan (Roger) Conger; step-sister, Reannin (Dean) Parker; and her second Mom, Kristi Miller. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of dear and special friends.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Ronnie Grim officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Cremation will take place following services.
