Obituary

MONIKA ANNE (HAGLEY) WOLFF, age 72, of Washington CH, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Monika was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William (Bill) Wolff, her son, Travis Eggleston, and her parents, Robert and Martha (Hodgson) Hagley.

Monika’s memory lives on through her surviving family including her children, Erik, and Amber and her husband, Jamie; her cherished grandchildren, Kiley, Brenna, and Jamison; her brother, Mike, and his wife, Brenda; along with many loved nieces and nephews.

Born in Stuttgart, Germany, Monika grew up living throughout the United States before graduating from Zanesville High School. She settled into life in Columbus where she built a loving home and family. She later moved to Arizona, where she met the love of her life, Bill. Together, their journey took them to Oregon, back to Arizona, and to Tennessee, before Monika eventually returned to Ohio following Bill's passing.

Monika truly had a zest for life. Outspoken, authentic, and delightfully honest, she never had a problem telling people exactly how she felt. She had a fantastic, bright smile and a contagious chuckle that could instantly lift a room. Monika had a deep affection for animals and enjoyed playing video and computer games—or watching YouTube of others playing them with joy.

More than anything else, her heart belonged to her family, whom she cherished endlessly. Her vibrant presence and unforgettable spirit will be deeply missed, and her absence will be felt by all who knew her.

Per Monika’s wishes, no formal services will be held. Instead, her family will remember her in the quiet spaces of their lives, in every shared memory, every burst of sudden laughter, and every moment where her love still holds strong. Her spirit is now at rest, but her legacy lives on. Her unmistakable laughter, and her deep devotion to her family will live on in every heartbeat of those who loved her most. Her warmth will forever be carried in their hearts. She loved fiercely and lived without regret, leaving behind a deep warmth and an enduring comfort that time can never fade.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Summers Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to www.summersfuneralhome.com
