MONTE C. MCCONKEY, age 57, of Bainbridge, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 2:26 p.m. at the Adena Medical Center. He was born on May 26, 1956 in Jamestown to Charles and Marion Dissell McConkey. He had worked as a pipefitter. He was an animal lover of all kinds especially horses and his dog "Jaw Bones". Monte was preceded in death by his parents and his son Keith Eggleton. Survivors include children Monica Warner (and Mason Matthews) and Heather (Shad) Shiltz; grandchildren Savannah and Branson Warner and Lucian and Trendon Fox; his fiance Tammy Hays; sisters Cheryl (Mike) Mollett and Carletta King as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. The memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at the Rose Avenue Community Center with Pastor Bruce Morrison officiating.
