Obituary

NANCY MAE WOLFE MCNEIL, age 84, of Hillsboro, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 6:20 p.m. at the Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born on December 2, 1930 in Washington CH, to Elmer and Sadie Marie Sickles Wolfe. She was a certified Food Service Manager and had been previously employed by Oakland Nursing Center as an evening manager. She also worked for more than 20 years at the Fayette County Sheriff's Department as a cook and retired in 2005. Nancy was a member of the Wilmington Seventh Day Adventist Church, Mother Thompson Christian Temperance Union of Hillsboro, School Food Service Association and was a past member of the Buckeye Sheriff's Association and the American Food Service Association. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 30 years, Jacob S. McNeil, siblings Richard Wolfe and Mable McClaskie, sister-in-law Doris Wolfe and nephew, Jeffery Wolfe. Survivors include her son, Randy Steven McNeil, and his wife, Susan Helen McNeil of Hillsboro; numerous cousins in the Springfield and Jackson areas as well as many good friends and neighbors. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Roy Lawinsky officiating and burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery.
